United States Pacific Fleet

Creada en 1907, fue recreada en 1941, en los albores de la IIGM y en cuyo momento su Cuartel General fue trasladado de San Diego a (y sigue) Pearl Harbor Naval Station (Hawaïi), y durante toda la guerra bajo el mando del almirante Chester W. Nimitz, con un mando auxiliar en North Island, en la bahía de San Diego (California).

La Flota del Pacífico actualmente tiene bajo su mando las 3ª y 7ª Flotas.

Y en la IIGM participó en las siguiente batallas aeronavales: 
 Battle of Guam, the Marshalls-Gilberts raids, the Doolittle Raid, the Solomon Islands campaign, the Battle of the Coral Sea, the Battle of Midway, the Battle of the Eastern Solomons, the Battle of the Santa Cruz Islands, the Battle of the Philippine Sea, the Gilbert and Marshall Islands campaign, the Battle of Leyte Gulf, and the Battle of Okinawa.
